This book was an amazing read. It was so well written, with great deal. It's makes you feel great to know that there are people who truly care about helping children. Especially when you hear so many tragic story of foster families abusing the children they take in to care for. All children deserve to be loved and cared for.

The title of this book is misleading to get people to read it because it is not so much about the boy, but about what it is like to take care of and help a child in the foster system. It was not well written, I had to skim in several places because it became annoying, almost like a boring diary entry. However, I finished the whole book, so that says something. I have no desire to read the other book about the girl Casey cared for.

It tended to get a bit wordy and some descriptions drawn out which makes it a tad boring, but it was ok.
