This is the first book I’ve read written by Ms. Chamberlain, but not the last. Edge of your seat, wonderful characters, fascinating story of friendship. Highly recommend!

But there were way too many implausible coincidences to make this a book one that the reader can ever forget is a work of fiction. I found myself rolling my eyes several times at the plot twists and sometimes at the character's dialogue. I finished it because I was snow bound not because I was engaged.

....I gave it 3 stars for a couple of reasons. 1). I am not a young person and my attention span is a little shorter than it was so I had difficulty keeping track of so many people. I had to hit search every time I went back to the book. 2) that being said, it was pretty convoluted - right up to the amazing ending. I would recommend this book - to a younger person willing to get thru the slow beginning and keep attention and track of all the people. If you do, look me up and I'll give you 5 bucks😉

The storyline is intriguing and very interesting. Certainly, it makes you think about how well you can really know people and are we truly there for the people we love. I found the friendship betrayal detracted from the story and I did not find Noelle very personal nor likable which made it difficult for me to love the book. All in all, predictable and not one of those books that make you think about it after it’s over.

I enjoyed this book a greatly. I couldn't put it down once I got into the book. The first few chapters, to me, were a little dry. A few chapters in, the book picked up its pace and became addictive. I couldn't put the book down and my desire to know what happened next was consistent. I give the book four stars because of the slight predicability.

Terrific pacing.. Great characters...thoughtful. This one will make you mull over your family bonds for a long time.
