She has a wonderful way of sending her message to us, with examples, cases, methods, reinforcement, humor and loving care.

First half of book contains a clear and compelling framework for mindfulness, compassion and acceptance. Took many notes on first half. Last half focuses excessively on personal stories which I found myself scanning pages at a time. I liked the book but would prefer to hear the main points without wading through 5-page stories every time.

So hard to do, but so necessary. Once we accept what is, we can begin to heal.

Tara Brach's book is an excellent guide to implementing the Dharma into a modern life; narrowing in on the particular ills of western culture. Radical Acceptance provides the most functional exposition of the Dharma I've ever read. This is one to read again and again.

Reading this book for the third time in 6 years. It really had monumental impact on my life the first time that I read it. I'm reading it again because it's so very true.
