Excellent read!

This book is the one that got me hooked on reading novels.

Great novel, depicting the racism and injustices that black people have lived through.

I absolutely loved reading this book!!! I had read it back in high school, but never got to the end. Reading it again as an adult was so enjoyable! I would read it again and again and again! Absolutely top 5 favorite books!

Suspense all the way through. Surprise throughout the book.

Another great story from Grisham. I was glued to the book until the very end. The suspense was intense.

I’m a late arrival to Grisham’s literature but so happy I’ve picked it up. Fun to go back to his very first book and it’s honestly a shock this didn’t have immediate success. For a legal thriller, it asks a simple question that leads to complex answers. Parts made my jaw drop and other parts made me laugh out loud. Great read!
