I have a file called “Devotional Highlights” that contains what I consider as especially helpful readings-there are many entries. Far, far superior to Oswald Chambers. Sample the 29 March reading online-I call it Frost (over specifying in prayer).

In life there is no "why." It"s not a perfect world. If there was a why, it"s in this book! The timeless truths and understanding that you receive each time you read this daily devotion change each time you you pass over the same passage. This is because you find yourself at a different point of understanding, need, and spiritual growth from year to year. Christ continues to touch my heart every time I pick up this book:)
  • Ok devotional, but....

It seems like much of this book is simply excerpts from books written by others. I realize that took some time to do, but it's far from original. It is a good devotional, though.

I wish the scripture references had been printed.
