I started this Wallflower series at the end and was so delighted that I have to go back to the beginning and finish the rest of the books—I could just tell that the entire series would be The Best Ever! Rafe is the brash American hero in search of a rich titled wife and Hannah is not titled but a companion accompanying the woman supposedly meant for Rafe. Ha! Everything goes topsy-turvy as Rafe and Hannah fall for each other in this cute holiday courtship!
  • Loved it.

I found this book at a Christmas Tree Shop ($2.99). It's a short fun read. I don't normally read 1800s romance...though I do love movies of the sort. I thought the story was told well and it didn't matter that I haven't read any of the other novels in the series. Though I may now.

I was slightly disappointed with this book. It was way to short and it spent in my opinion to much time on the original wallflowers. Don't get me wrong I liked seeing them again and how their lives have progressed but I would have like it to be more about Rafe and Hannah. For a second there I forgot her name. It just dosnt feel like one of Lisa's best novels or like the other wallflower books. It felt very rushed and not enough time on the main characters. Rent it from the library and save ur money on this one :(....

If you read the other books this one caps them off perfectly.

She seems to have phoned this one in. It's short, without many complications. It also has more violent, aggressive stuff than the other wallflower books (ie borderline assaults)
  • Thumbs Up!

I love the Wallflowers! It was fun to meet them again, especially my man Westcliff. :-D Wallflower fans will like this book.
