Kept me on my toes and literally had me shaking! Very intense read, loved it!

Second time I’ve read this book. Just as good as 30 years ago.

Ready for the next book in this series.

Just plain badly written.

Quick easy read. Mostly entertaining. I found her red herrings a little two red and obvious for me to have considered them seriously. The forensics were well done and interesting and the major characters were fairly well drawn. Overall a good forensic mystery that requires some thinking, but not overly taxing.

I really don't understand the five star reviews. I've now read a quarter of the book and it is boring me to death. There are to many useless details given and the bla bla about the computer stuff is just a pathetic attempt to be interesting. I don't think I will even finish reading this book, and that has never happened before.

Terrific at keeping suspense throughout and great surprise ending. 4 stars

I have read every book in the Scarpetta series. This book was my first, and by far, my favorite! - It made me want to double check my windows and doors at night before going to bed!
