Great mystery novel of cops and bad guys. All intertwined with love letters about The City of Brotherly Love.

The story wonderfully told. Great plotting and dialogue, while also giving further elaboration and demystifying Vic Moretti's family and Philadelphia background . A great continuation in the series.

The Sheriff’s badge is badly tarnished in this one, as he doesn’t have the ethical character portrayed in the first two books, and gets involved with his potty mouthed deputy. Plot is contrived and includes injuries to the Sheriff’s daughter putting a pall over the situation from the start. The setting is not in the West, in a city few are interested in. Brilliant writing and character dialogue, and the Native American (one of the Nations) spiritual scenes are outstanding. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have finished. Overall, the book left a bad moral taste in my mouth.

The Longmire series is very entertaining and well written. They are a fun read that will hold your interest. Kindness Goes Unpunished as it is set in Philly versus Walt's home in Wyoming

He just keeps getting better ad more human! Tony Hillerman would have loved every word.

Better than Crocodile Dundee. I enjoyed a cowboy and Indian chasing bad guys through the streets of Philly. This story builds the characters of Vic, the deputy and Cady, Walt's daughter, so you get to know them better. It was a page turner. Ciau.
