I have read a number of Slaughter’s novels, including some of the the Grant County series, and overall, I think they’re entertaining reads. I will admit that I have not yet finished this book and therefore can’t give a full review, but I am so annoyed, I’m not sure I can continue reading. A death takes place, the result of a 12-gauge pump action weapon, which anyone with any knowledge about guns knows is a shotgun (I am a 46 year old mother of two, not a gun expert). However, it is repeatedly called a rifle, and the ammunition it uses is referred to as a bullet. A shotgun uses shells, not bullets. This is such basic information, I feel slaughter has lost all credibility in my eyes.

Enjoyed the read very much and highly recommend it. I have enjoyed all of Karin Slaughter's books that I have read.

I was skeptical at first being a $1.99, This book kept my attention the entire way through. Great read!

Many times I read a book and have it figured out half way through. Not with this one! Kept me guessing, and reading. Very enjoyable. Read it in a day.
