This was an intriguing introduction to a new series. I guess this series is an offshoot of another series the author has written. Unfortunately, because of that, it felt like there was a lot of info I was missing out on. I liked the author's writing so I may go back to the first series and start there.

A cup of Charlie Kingsley’s specially brewed tea blended with suspense and sweetened with a spoonful of mystery is the perfect recipe for a fun read on a rainy night. Gargoyles don’t come to life when the sun sets, except maybe in the small town of Redemption they do! Fast-paced and funny, this novella is a must-read.

I liked this book for the most part. But when it was starting to get good the book just suddenly ended? I’m not sure exactly, but then it started giving me a little to read of another book instead of this one finishing. Bummer, I liked this book too

Enjoyable read and I understand a prequel to a series of books. However it was very disappointing that there was no ending or resolution to the story. It just abruptly ended. I get that it’s a set up to the series but I would have liked some resolution. But it was free so what can I say? Hopefully the rest of the books don’t end like this.
