My Big Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby by Bella Jacobs is the second book in her supernatural romance series. Baron is the broody vampire who has secluded himself out in the swamp, far, far, away from everyone and his family, the Blackmores. His only companion is Laura, the bear he rescued when she was a cub. Annie is the sweet, beautiful witch, and one of the Wonderfully sisters. She has set out to conquer Baron. She knew the first time she met him that he would be someone very special to her. Nothing was stopping her, not even a winter's night trotting through the swamp to get to Baron. When Annie unexpectedly falls into the water, it is Baron who is there to save her. That night would be the night that Baron and Annie would be connected forever; a baby. Annie is aware of Baron's past and how his choices caused him to lose his wife and daughters. Fearing how he would react to the news, Annie sets out to get closer to Baron. So when the opportunity arises after she saves his life, Annie is determined to prove to him how perfect they are together. The more time they spend together, the closer they'll get and Annie will finally have to opportunity to tell Baron the news. As much as Baron insists he is no good for Annie, his actions do not match his words. He can't stop his attraction to her and his need to protect her. There is danger lurking in the darkness of Nightfall. Instincts, signs, and warnings are all around. Who can be trusted and who will be hurt? In the midst of this craziness, will Annie reveal her secret to Baron? Can Baron accept that he has been given a second chance to love and a family? Wow, this book was filled with surprises, suspense, fear, and sexiness. It was so much fun experiencing how Annie's humor and sassiness broke through Baron's walls. What a GREAT read!!!!

I am OBSESSED with this series!!! Somehow, I enjoyed this book even more than the first book! There is just something about a broody man and a sunshine woman that makes a book *fantastic.* Bella does the best job at world-building. I feel like I have a map of this town in my head, along with all the cute locations! Loved the character development in this book. Again, always awesome watching the broody one melt. That's definitely the case here. Another thing I love about Bella's books? We get more from the characters we met in the last book, we get mystery, and we get a set up for the next book. There are so many questions I still want answers to, and so many characters I want happily-ever-afters for!!! If you like books with humor, banter, grumpy-sunshine trope, and mystery, this book is totally for you! Oh, plus vampires, witches, and house krakens!!! That house kraken is my FAVORITE!

My Big Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby is book 2 in Bella Jacobs supernatural romance series, The Wonderfully Witches of Nightfall New Hampshire. Supernatural stories are not generally my go to genre, but Bella Jacobs’ unforgettable characters and fantastic storylines have pulled me in time and time again. Baron and Annie’s romance was entertaining and so much fun to read. Bella Jacobs not only delivers entertaining storylines, but also includes a bit of suspense which makes her books all the more interesting and exciting. Bella Jacobs continues to win me over book after book, and I find myself loving her characters more and more with the turn of every page. Even if you aren’t a lover of supernatural romance, I believe Bella Jacobs will win you over just as she has done me. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and more tales of the Wonderfully Witches and their hunky vampires.

What a delightfully charming paranormal romcom! Annie and Baron were so cute together and their chemistry was instant. I loved how broody and grumpy Baron was. He was so reluctant to accept love and I really enjoyed how Annie was determined to make him see he was worthy of it. Annie was sunny, quirky, sassy bookish witch who yearned for a soul mate and family and ends up with a surprise miraculous pregnancy from one passionate night with Baron. This story was captivating, funny and cute. I enjoyed how Annie’s introverted, quite personality slowing grew into a confident & persistent person. She knew Baron was the one and she went for it and helped him open himself to love again. Overall I loved every detail and can’t wait to read more about the Wonderfully sisters.

A perfect book to devour in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. Except to update my husband who, despite insisting it isn’t his “type of book,” kept pestering me for updates. If you’re looking for a romantic tale with a paranormal twist, you will adore “My Big Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby” just as much as I did.

So excited to be back Nightfall with the quirky and adorably wonderful Wonderfully sisters and the vampy Blackmore family! Baron is such a grumpy, serious man, er, vampire…mired under devastating guilt from his mortal life. Annie is sweet as sugar and a little bit of sunshine in his very dark life. And she’s bound and determined to show him that he is good and worthy of happiness. It’s no secret that grumpy/sunshine is one of my very favorite tropes, but I don’t often see it in a PNR story…which just makes it that much more special. The humor runs through this story, from Annie’s fumbling attempts to hide her supernatural pregnancy to Baron’s sweetly strange relationship with Laura the bear. Great dialogue, engaging characters and a storyline filled with twists and turns, My Big Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby was a can’t put it down book for me.

Grumpy meets kind-hearted makes for a great story. Baron is a broody vampire who likes his solitude. While his brother Darcy is enjoying life with Blaire, her sister Annie has a big crush on the moody brother who lives out in the swamp. Try as she might, she can’t dismiss her feelings for Baron, and is determined to show him how great life can be if he would just open his heart. After a night of passion between Baron and Annie, he pushes Annie away and tells her what they did was a mistake. Not so easily deterred, Annie sets out to show Baron that they indeed belong together. When she finds out she’s pregnant, she kicks her plan into high gear. No spoilers, but Baron has his reasons for his almost-constant bad mood. He’s fighting the pull he and Annie have, and he’s not sure if he’ll be able to continue to push her away. This was a funny, sweet, engrossing paranormal romance. It’s fun to revisit Nightfall

This series just gets better with each book. I just loved reading about Grumpus Baron and happy sweet Annie. Their unexpected and miraculous pregnancy is the reason Annie finally decided to go after what she most wanted, a forever with Baron. Annie Wonderfully and her sisters recently found out they are witches from a long line of witches and moved to the supernatural town of Nightfall to live in the falling down familial home. Baron Blackmore is a 200 year old vampire who believes his past mistakes make him irredeemable and is not interested in a relationship and spends his time suffering alone in cabin in the swamp. An errand during a freak snowstorm and near death from hypothermia results in a one night stand an accidental pregnancy that should be impossible. Now that she knows she’s pregnant, Annie is determined to be a family with Baron and thus the HEA journey begins. The story includes what you’d expect from this genre - mildly dangerous situations, paranormal creatures, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, mystical coincidences, snark, and laughs. On their way to their HEA, there is a small bit of angst and there is growth for both characters. The book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, sexy times, real life issues, imperfect characters, laugh out loud moments, and so much love. So expect to laugh, swoon, cry, cringe, and cheer. I am excited to read the next book in this series teased about in the epilogue. I willingly reviewed an early copy of this book.
