5 Stars. Connelly, Bosch and Ballard are just so good. I’m afraid that this might be the end of this great series. Thankfully I’m only as far as TRUNK MUSIC so I have plenty to read. Bosch is my new Spenser, I finally found my Parker “replacement”.
This was a great mystery filled with even better characters. Ballard and Bosch worked it brilliantly. It felt like their final chapter though and that’s too bad.
I was pretty late to Connelly’s work. I’m glad I have so much catching up to do now though.

Absolutely fantastic police procedural.
I really enjoyed this piece.
Excellent; engaging and sometimes riveting. Another side of Bosch.

The book read like the author had a deadline to meet. The first 2 chapters ramble on, and the end was expected.

Particularly like the storyline and the plot, although two running concurrently, they were easy to follow. The narrators were especially good. You have to wonder what can the author do next to top the last one
