I’ve never related to any one’s story as much as Mean Baby. Maybe not relating but understanding the inside voice. There are a lot of words in this memoir, that I myself could have written. It’s a journey of compassion and healing. Thank you Selma for this gift. It’s raw and honest. You my love, are helping me on my own journey to find peace and comfort with whatever may be happening inside of me. You’ve shown me how to fight because I’m worth fighting for. To not lay down and wait to die. Thank you.

So sad and yet so uplifting. My heart goes out to Selma, both for her triumphs over adversity and her inner beauty throughout her battles. Too bad she never found the love of her life. Who knows how far she would have gone with that comfort behind her. Luckily, she had friends galore and they all seemed to have that same beauty she had, inside and out.

Selma Blair’s passion for true happiness is inspiring. It’s also what makes her the perfect voice for people struggling with debilitating neurological disease.
