Nice to read about two reasonable people having a grownup relationship. Excellent job portraying what celebs have to put up with. Could have spent more time (but not Too much) portraying hero’s realization that he is worthy, and maybe just how they found the new property. But it’s a good story and an enjoyable read.

I have been not so patiently waiting for Cooper and Amy's story and OMG they were so worth the wait!! I love Amy so so so much. She's fierce and goes for what she wants. She's goals. I knew there was going to be more to Cooper than Hollywood star in recovery and always good for a laugh. I admit I shed a couple tears over these two but the humor overtook them. I love every visit to Juniper Ridge but this one felt super special.

A*R*C for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars Just for Show is book 5 in the Juniper Ridge Romantic Comedies series by Tawna Fenske and a great addition. A funny, light hearted rom-com about Cooper the self proclaimed family screwup and Amy the police chief where attraction abounds but they try to ignore it. Once you start it’s hard to put down as you want to see what happens next…

I’ve been waiting for Cooper and Amy’s story and it did not disappoint. While Cooper is convinced that he’s not good enough for Amy, because of his drug and alcohol issues in the past, Amy feels the same because of family issues. To me, they are the perfect couple because neither is judgmental at all…and they have way more in common than probably anyone, other than Fenske herself, would have guessed. The funny bits…cows, kittens and an interesting and hilarious meet the parents mishaps…are intermingled with the seriousness of their lives. So I’m laughing and tearing up, sometimes in the same chapter! I think Cooper touched me the most of all the siblings, and not because his character and I have anything in common. He just wormed his way into my heart from the start. Amy was much gentler, I guess the word might be, than how I saw her in the previous books. She is so less buttoned up than she seems and it was a joy to watch her and Cooper together. Another hit from Tawna Fenske in my book!

Another fantastic visit to Juniper Ridge and Cooper and Amy were definitely worth the wait. I loved these two together. And Cooper couldn’t have been a better guy for Amy. Ugh, seriously I loved Cooper. These two both had things in their past they they couldn’t move past and really affected how they saw themselves as undeserving. Loved getting more of the Judson clan and the hint of what is to come for Lana. This is a wonderful family and town and this is just another great story. It will be seriously hard not to fall for Cooper!

This is a sweet, redemptive, sexy opposites attract story that will give you all the feels - laughing, crying, gasping, and swooning. I smiled the whole time I was reading this story. It was like wrapping myself in a cuddly blanket while sitting in the sun. I could not put it down. Cooper and his five famous siblings have started a reality type show building a community, Juniper Ridge, at a former cult compound where the community members live and work while being filmed. Amy is the chief of police for Juniper Ridge. Cooper is a three team Oscar winner but he’s also has a record and is recovering alcoholic and drug addict. The cop and the criminal are not the most likely pair. They’ve known each other for two years but have only been friends, despite their obvious attraction. The journey to their HEA is beautiful and made me so happy. They both deserve such good things. This quote from the book sums up the heartwarming story arc: “Good people just have to show up for the ones they love and not sacrifice themselves on the altar of pleasing others. But if making someone happy makes you happy, that’s magic. That’s love.” This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, strong friendships, laughs, messy families, sexy times, real life issues, redemption, character growth, imperfect characters, and so much love. I am loving this series and am excited to read about the next Judson sibling.
