Not as enjoyable as some of her other books. Lots and lots of punctuation and spelling errors.

This is book 3 of the Mountain Men series and whiled I really loved the first two I felt a little underwhelmed with this one. I still really liked it but, I didn’t love it. There were a few things that bothered me, not huge things, but a couple small things. Like, the two characters Jenna/Jana and getting them mixed up throughout the book. The few blow ups the main couple of this story had at each other seemed a little immature and childish but, not enough for me to stop reading. I’m all for a sweet HEA but, this story didn’t pull me in like the first two and that’s totally okay, it’s not going to stop me from reading the rest of the series and, in fact I’m really excited for book 4. Like always, I will continue to encourage people to not give up on an author if they didn’t connect with or like a book. You might love the next one so don’t give up on them!

A sweet romance with two people who have faced difficulties in the past that influence their hope for true love in their futures. Glimpses of mountain lifestyle, other characters of past and future stories, and an easy storyline. Overall a light, low angst, Instalove HEA read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It was charming with romantic characters. Don’t let the small town fool you. The couple appear naive but that would be naive of the reader not to see their complexity. The romance wasn’t too far of an escape from reality where you have to suspend reality to embrace the plot. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance with a little spice. Think cinnamon spice instead of cayenne. The chemistry and connection was there. You won’t hate either romantic partner. After the meet cute the cute couple takes our hearts while things take a turn. Here comes some shadows from the past to overshadow the sunshine of the new lovers. The suspense keeps this from becoming too cotton candy like. The third in a series this follows a pattern. The next mountain man ready for love will be Bennett. Until Bennett’s book comes out. Please make sure you request the bonus epilogue. There’s also a subplot with two side characters found in Taken by the Mountain Man. Yes the cherry on top is as sweet as the read.

Be still my heart! I have fallen head over heels in love with this series: Mountain Men Of Whiskey River. I suppose you could read them out of order as there’s NOT any cliffhangers, but it makes a lot more sense to read in order. And they’re worth every penny spent!!! In fact I do believe I’m gonna go reread book 1 over again! From the moment I began reading Cash and Hope’s story I didn’t want to put it down. I was transfixed! The way these mountain men care for and take care of their women is heart melting.

I loved this latest story by Kaci Rose. I loved this series and I was glad to see Cash find happiness. Hope had a rough upbringing but she has settled in Whisky River doing a job she loves. While at the grocery store’s cafe, she sees a man walk in looking uncertain. There was something about him that draws her. Cash had an unique upbringing and now that his brother has died, he needs to figure out some things. He is amazed by Hope when she comes over to him. They soon start dating but something strange is going on. Will they figure it out before it’s too late? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved Take Me To The Lake: Book 3 of Mountain Men of Whiskey River. Hope has been on her own most of her life, her father wasn’t around and her mother always chose drugs. Cash lost his brother to cancer a few months back, now at 28 he’s going to the grocery store for the first time. Hope sees him and knows he needs help, plus she’s drawn to him and him to her. A few growing pains test their young relationship but unwelcome visitors and strange men lurking about show them how much they really care about each other. Friends rally to help as well as a new dog. Such a great storyline and lovable characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it and the series. Hope and Cash couldn’t be more perfect for each other and I really couldn’t help but fall in love with them as the book went on. While they don’t have a lot of experience in love, the way that they are drawn to one another is beautiful to see. It’s their connection that definitely makes this book memorable, as well as their devotion to one another. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
