Good read. Typical Fern.

One of my favorite books of the year so far! A good read. I did have a bit of a difficult time getting into Alison’s character. She seemed to be hard and crass, but then suddenly was open and caring. Otherwise, I couldn’t put this book down!

Fern Michaels she is a wonderful writer. Love the way she writes about the characters and enjoyed this book so much suspense just waiting could not put book down.

Great book,hard to put down .kept me on the edge of my seat.

This was a great read. I like the strength of the main character, with the underlying vulnerabilities.

Not enough details in Alison’s foster care life. Not enough details on the cult activities.

Loved the story of hope, determination, and working to achieve one’s dream in spite of being dealt a terrible hand in life.

So much going on .

Love that this book is set in Florida and on the gulf coast!
