    Jasper left Patterson’s Bluff to escape demons he believed would continue to haunt him for the rest of his life. In doing so, he hurt the only person who truly “saw” him for whom he really was. After making something of his life, Jasper returns to right wrongs and fulfill his mom’s life long wish. Jasper wants to prove to everyone he’s not the angry teen he used to be and he’s also NOT his dad. But small-town life, gossip makes it almost impossible…Almost. Evie has lived in Patterson’s Bluff her entire life and never plans to leave. She loves her small town, her family and her job. After having health issues, Evie locks away her heart and dreams. She decides she is tired of “taking”, so she volunteers for EVERYTHING. She also puts her dreams and relationships aside because she’s afraid of the “what ifs”. When Jasper returns to town, he makes it impossible for Evie to continue not feeling—especially when they’re thrown together as Mr & Mrs Claus. This novel has ALL the feels! Big Ears stole the show with his floppy ears and reindeer headband. I could just imagine the sausage flopping around as he ran. Jasper’s patience and kindness stole my heart! His determination to honor his mom, make amends, and win over his girl…swoon. I also empathized with Evie, her scars, and fears. Very realistic and heartwarming. I highly recommend this novel. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

  • Sweet Holiday Romance

    This was a cute holiday romance. The two main characters were both engaging and the story had just enough holiday cheer. Jasper and Evie have a history with one another and it was nice to see them figure things out and get their happily ever after. And I would be severely remiss if I didn’t mention Big Ears, the adorable hound that stole the show on more than one occasion. (The chase scene made me laugh out loud.) I liked both Jasper and Evie, but I must admit that Evie was a little triggering for me, She has an illness that she’s been dealing with all her life, and she hates feeling as though she is always “taking” from her friends and family. It takes her quite a while to understand that the love and support she’s getting are being given freely and eagerly. I’ve been living with an illness for over 30 years and would give anything to have the kind of love and support she does. I just felt like shaking her to get her to realize how lucky she really is. All in all it was a sweet holiday romance, a bit heavy on the angst and light on the heat, but I read it in one sitting and enjoyed it. I just hope Big Ears makes more appearances in upcoming books in the series.

Unfortunately for him, he also has to deal with the consequences of his fathers actions and some of the mistakes he made as a teenager since the local townies can't seem to let it go. His unexpected hero comes in the form of his childhood crush, Evie. As the two play Santa and Mrs. Clause for the local Christmas festivities, they realize that they are more alike than they thought and the spark has not diminished in the time that they've been apart. Now they need to decide if they can make it work with all the obstacles in their way. A Merry Aussie Christmas is a little bit cheesy, but also very cute and the perfect addition to your Christmas romance reading list! We get to see some characters from past novels revisited which adds a little bit of magic to the book. Evie and Jasper are the perfect second chance romance that you are looking for this holiday season!

  • Perfect Holiday Pick-Me Up

    A delightful and heartfelt story filled with second chances at life and love. We all make mistakes, but what matters is if we learn from them and do better going forward. Jasper is a man whose past haunts him. He wants a second chance but doesn't think the people of his hometown will give him one, especially Evie Dunn. I love that Jasper steps up and basically makes people see the real him, the adult him...not that crazy, mixed-up teen. And Evie is wonderful for him, but also has her own issues to deal with. Plus, there's a sweet, lovable, adorable dog...Big Ears! Mix in all the holiday fun, old friends we've seen in Patterson Bluff books and it's the perfect holiday treat!

  • A great second chance romance

    A delightful second chance romance. Jasper and Evie crushed an each other in High School. When Jasper’s life seem to come crashing down around him, he packed and left town. It’s ten years later, and Jasper has come back to Patterson Bluff to make amends. When he is roped into playing Santa, Evie, the woman he never got over, is his Mrs. Claus. Both Jasper and Evie have to work through a lifetime of baggage to get to their happily ever after, but the journey is worth it. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for my honest review.

  • Just what you need to get in the holiday spirit!

    Naughty Santa just might be the temptation Mrs. Claus needs to live a little! Stefanie London is pouring on the Aussie holiday feels with this delightful small town romance and I loved every single minute of it. The characters both have a back story that explains who they have become in life and seeing them reconnect and begin to develop a relationship of their own is heartwarming. I can't wait for a return to Patterson Bluff in the future! Jasper is such a sweetheart! He's misunderstand and under appreciated, but his heart is pure gold and I loved seeing him get the redemption he so justly deserved. Evie is the town delight and is beloved by everyone, but she holds herself back. Jasper is just the sexy fun she needs to prove to her once and for all that she's meant to set the world on fire. I highly recommend this book to anyone who's looking for a holiday read to get you in the spirit of Christmas. There's seriousness, there's laughter and there's a yummy romance brewing throughout.
