The building of the characters was good. Very anticlimactic disappointed

Amy Brent has captured a distinct flare of the chemistry between 2 characters, while “adulting” in front of a “grown-up” 6 year old, still missing her mother who died. Grief and a desperate need to have a “closeness” to another female have been transferred to her doll, whom she insists must be accepted by the adults in her world. Mesmerizing, cant wait to see what happens in ….”The rest of the story”.

Couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between karly and Damon was off the charts.

Widowed dad in desperate need of a nanny. Manages to meet the perfect one immediately. A little overdone and the kid seems a little immature for her age, but we’ll see how it goes. Also, personally, I’m not a huge fan of these dominant/submissive books. Quite frankly, I think it’s become too much of a trope.
