He has a great family, a job he loves, friends that are like family...yet something is missing; his one and only love..Lexi. ****** Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ****** Wow, this story has a LOT going on. We get to see Keith and Lexi fall in love, and then struggle with Keith joining the Army, distance and deployments. Slowly our two love birds fall apart and Lexi spirals out of control. This book was not what I was expecting. The storyline is much darker. To say Lexi’s life turns into mess is putting it mildly. This story has secrets, disappointments, betrayals, and possible triggers. This book had it all!!! I was stunned and for once I wondered if Ms. Drake was going to take away the HEA. This book will give you all the feels, sorrow, anger, happiness and joy, then lots of anger! However, as always you have to make it through the storm to see the sunshine. Keith and Lexi have a 10 year journey to love and they earned every bit of happiness they get! Do I recommend? Duh..it’s JL Drake, she can’t write a bad book. Will I keep reading? Of course, I already have. Devils Reach Trilogy is next in the reading order...but I have already read the entire series 3 times! Just start reading!! You won’t be disappointed!
