I love the way Ashley writes. You feel like your in the room with the characters, feeling their feelings. The twists in this book were so fun and unforeseen too. Highly recommend.

This book dragged! It’s supposed to revolve around a murder but there’s so many characters that ridiculously sound the same it’s hard to keep track on who even died. Half way through I didn’t care about who died or why.

This book gave me the very rare experience in life of being grateful that I missed out on the traditional university experience. GOODNESS. I was so stressed out reading this book, and I say that in the absolute best way possible. It was such an intense story with so many intertwining perspectives and storylines. All of the East House Seven have skeletons in their closet and they each come face to face with them ten years later at their college reunion. I was begging for the EXACT ending to unfold by the time I got through the first quarter of the book and it was SO SATISFYING to receive it in full. This is such a good thriller through and through! I can not recommend it highly enough!
  • Kept me guessing the whole time!

Good plot, but the writing is shallow and trite, leaving you to wonder whether Winstead is not too bright or if she thinks her readers are stupid. The dialogue might as well be from a bad 80s movie with its melodramatic simplicity. Winstead also either has no idea how academia works or was being intentionally obtuse in order to make her plot work. Neither did she do any research on how drugs work. Had she read the back of a box of diet pills or googled Molly, it would have been less embarrassing.

I went into this book not excited about reading it because I usually am a Colleen Hoover junkie but holy crap did it surprise me! I absolutely loved it and could not put it down. I figured it would take me weeks to read but finished it in a few days. It had me hooked and shook 💯
