They must rely on each other to survive

The Line of Duty by Nichole Severn

When Blackhawk operative Vincent Kalani boarded an airplane, he never expected it to crash into the Alaskan mountains. On the ground, by-the-book police officer Shea Ramsey becomes his unlikely partner in survival. Shea was headed to New York to fight for custody of her son, but now she’s fighting for her life with an ex-cop who’s equal parts inscrutable and unpredictable.

Trusting a Stranger by Melinda Di Lorenzo

Wanted for murder, Graham Calloway has hidden for years in a remote mountain cabin, desperate to find the killer who framed him. Keira Niles, too, is running from her shattered life when, during a blizzard, Graham pulls her from her wrecked car. Their attraction is instant; mutual trust is not. Then an unforeseen betrayal threatens Keira, causing Graham to risk exposure—and his life—to rescue her and redeem himself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. I just want to be truthful and say that I only read Nichole Severn's, The Line of Duty. Ms. Severn is a favorite author of mine. I just adorn her stories. I get lost in the world that she creates and time just slips away. This story is no different. The coming together of these two people and creating a team that virtually destroyed a large team of corrupt cops in the Alaskan wilderness is enchanting. After their small plane crashes in the mountains in winter, they have to not only survive the elements but the corrupt men sent to take them out. I must say that the twists and turns that these two have to go through and face together and apart is one that kept me glued to the e-reader (sorry honey for not fixing dinner tonight. Ok not really!!) The author does a great job in leading up to sexy times with very little details before fading completely away. Thus making this story one that could be appropriate for all. I really hated for the story to end but look forward to more from this author.
