  • Sweet and spicy!

This is book 4 in the On My Own series and it features Natalie and Tanner.  Their relationship was kind of friendly, a lot of bickering and yet still very attracted to each other.  We knew these two would eventually get together but their connection was seriously unexpected.  The saying “opposites attract” really applies to them.  They definitely have communication issues though.     This is a sweet and sexy story.  Although  the story line is good, there was a little too much filler story especially in the first half of the book.  I still enjoyed spending time with all the characters and I look forward to reading more from this author.
  • Wonderful Series Conclusion

Tanner & Natalie are the unlikely duo who have had some tension building for three(!) books! We discover why Tanner is always working (Magic Mike meets Colorado!) and why Natalie seems to be so prim and proper. These two finally collide and one bad decision leads to unexpected consequences for this non-couple. They have a lot of decisions to make and have a lot of obstacles to overcome and you can’t help but cheer for them to make it despite all the differences and backgrounds these two have and you genuinely want them to win. This is a great conclusion to the series and I hope we get peeks to on these couples again!

I loved Tanner and Natalie. They are both so lost in their own struggle that they have a hard time being honest with each other when they finally get together. Then they get surprised by a unexpected surprise. As they find their way both of their families implode and they are so thankful for the family they created. As they work toward each other it’s clear they are meant to be together. This is a wonderful conclusion to this series. Well done!!!

Four and a half stars My Bad Decision is the fourth and last in the On My Own quartet, about college friends making their way as they navigate life and the world. Tanner Hagen and Natalie Blake have few things in common. One is the fact that their roommates are all dating each other. When one unplanned encounter proves to have life-changing results, it takes them some time to figure out their relationship with each other and to be reminded of the strength of their true friendships as well. Carrie Ann Ryan’s story is full of passion and heat as well as not shying away from moments of pain and agony as only true emotion can reveal. Natalie and Tanner do ultimately find their way and the courage to fight for themselves and each other. Great conclusion to the series.

What a great love story! Really enjoyed this!! Although Natalie and Tanner are young, they show wisdom beyond their years. Are their pasts quite different? Yes…but with their strong attraction you just know they’ll be together. But is it a bad decision? Are their circumstances too different? Once you look beyond the surface, you can see the true person underneath the exterior. How different are they really? Great love story, wonderful supporting characters and a beautiful ending!
