I liked this book because I’m in the wine business and the author got a lot of things right. However, the mother in law character was poorly written and the book is finished with no resolve. Pretty disappointing.

A great beach (or Napa vacation) read. Wines, family, friends, in-laws and outlaws. The protagonist is likable and relatable. Worth the read!!

This is a wonderful story with interesting characters. I greatly enjoyed it, but the ending was rushed and abrupt.

Cheesy, smarmy, snoozy drivel....totally unrealistic but at the same time totally predictable

Anyone who has gone through a breakup can relate to Mackenzie’s heartache!! As she realizes her marriage is over she also realizes she is losing the only family she had left in this world. Thankfully two of her sister in laws supported her. Her other two and her mother in law were just mean! I’m glad she left them! The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was how her husband/ex-husband changed so much. He became a very mean and uncaring person. Which can happen in real life I just wasn’t expecting it in the book. But I love how Mackenzie grows throughout the book and takes charge of her own life and happiness. And builds her own, new, supportive family. As always Susan Malery helps you forget about your own troubles for a time and let’s you get lost in someone else’s world for a bit.
  • Winner!

Another great read by Susan Mallery! This book has many twists and turns, which keeps you turning the page. There is friendship, love, strength, courage and empowering strong women. I laughed and cried, which is a win-win... A winner of a book!

It’s was something to read and occupy a few hours of my time I guess. But I feel I over paid for this book by $10 at least.
