Good thriller, hits all the right notes. PTSD schtick gets wearisome…you can feel the author pulling the strings at times.

Horrible! Stopped half way thru! No realism.

Started off a little slow but about a third of the way into it, it started picking up the pace. Not his best work but definitely enjoyable. Looking forward to the next one.

Enjoyed the book and story. A great diversion from the country’s current state. Absolutely agreed with the authors comments at the end of the story. For what it’s worth I highly recommend this book!

While it feels good to check back in with Peter, Lewis and June, this felt strange. The plot seemed more like a fit with The Hunger Games than Peter Ash in patriot vs evil. I plan to hold back when the next one comes out until I see if we are back on course or not.

Like the characters, first book was best and second was also good. getting a bit too repetitive and far out for me. Think I’ll move on. Mike

I've liked all the Petrie books but this was a major disappointment. I'll try not to give anything away but from the way the main characters were brought into the plot to the way the antagonist was identified, along with how far-fetched the overall plot was, it was all just ludicrous.
