What do you do when your dream guy shows up to rescue you? Push back of course! Sebastian and Alyssa have danced around each other for years. Sebastian has steered clear since Alyssa is his partner and best friends sister. This story starts off with a bang and keeps the action and suspense going until the end. Great love/hate banter between Alyssa and Sebastian. HEA.

I love that the author did a mix of suspense and humor in this. We get to see the hero ramp up his very, protective instincts with the heroine as her life becomes in danger, while also getting to see a humorous side to this couple as they navigate the minefield of their relationship. The heroes are one of the biggest reasons I love Cynthia Eden's books. I like the protective, possessive, and jealous heroes. I get a kick out of their actions when they are that far gone for a woman. This is something this author does very well. Her heroines are pretty entertaining too. Alyssa sure knew how to keep Sebastian on his toes. There was a misunderstanding from the very beginning that prevented these two from really going for a relationship and it took some danger to come in to Alyssa's life to move them forward. I enjoyed these two very much.
