"A feel-good book guaranteed to lift your spirits."—The Washington Post

The dazzling reader-favorite about the choices that go into a life well lived, from the acclaimed author of How To Stop Time and The Comfort Book.

Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better?

In The Midnight Library, Matt Haig's enchanting blockbuster novel, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision. Faced with the possibility of changing her life for a new one, following a different career, undoing old breakups, realizing her dreams of becoming a glaciologist; she must search within herself as she travels through the Midnight Library to decide what is truly fulfilling in life, and what makes it worth living in the first place.

I finished the book but way too deep for me. The first night I thought of my own regrets and that was difficult. But I had to see how the book ended.

While reading the book it helps you realize how important it is to love the little parts of your life and the big ones too. The good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly. I love this book

I don’t tend to read a lot of books but this year I’ve decided to indulge in reading more. This was the first book I’ve read in a while and it was definitely worth the read. From the beginning to the end, it always kept me wanting to read more. The sadness life brings when everything isn’t going our way, to finally hitting rock bottom. Once you hit rock bottom there’s only one way up. I would recommend this book to anyone struggling or just needs a feel good pick me up.

I started the book off at high-speed, and without giving too much away, about the time you get to the middle along with all of her multiple lives, it gets to be redundant. Was very much interested on how the ending would turn out for her, (which kept the intrigue) hopefully she’ll get that coffee with Ash…
