Premise was good but just never got hooked like I have with others I have read. This is a new author for me. Sorry to say, my first and last book of hers to read. I went straight to the epilogue to at least get some closure. I’m funny that way

Loved this book! I love all things NOLA! From the Bourbon Street Smells, beignets, fish tacos and hearing that jazz soul music come to life!

First time reading this author. Enjoyed this quirky story and different characters. There were four more brothers to tell a story about, especially the two missing brothers. Hope she does that.

Wasn’t sure what to expect. An artist with rose colored glasses (Bea Baker) a scarred magician who scowls (Huxley Markow). But it works! Kelly Siskind pulls a slight of hand with this book. Recommend. Received from Bad Boy Update.

I can't get enough of the quirky characters in this ms. Everybody is bizarre and totally human, and every page has a touch of magic in the way it captures the full tapestry of the human experience. Funny and cute and heart-tugging and I couldn't stop reading!
