As always, I love Erica Ridley storylines. I’m always amazed at how her stories develop and really enjoy the history she weaves throughout. But more than anything, she has a natural instinct when writing about the way her characters would react in certain circumstances. I do have to admit that Alistair is probably my least favorite character in all of the Ridley books I’ve read. The poor guy was always making the wrong choice. For me, he was cloyingly unsympathetic.
