This was a pretty good book until I reached the end.

It is a very well written story, but it needs more quality.

Great story about the kids

At first i was a tad skeptical because i loved the first series literally SOOO MUCH and was worried this sequel wouldn’t be able to live up to my expectations or i would just be disappointed, but overall i can say i LOVE this series maybe not as much as the first, but VERY close to it. Asher might actually be giving Dylan Hale a run for his money, we’ll see how the series progresses. Ive preordered the last 2 and practically binged them all instantly and am begging August to come sooner. I love each character so much and love the bonds and banter between them all. This is a must read series! The books are on the short side, and sometimes end in brain mashing cliff hangers, my only complaint, but only because i NEED MORE.

I love the characters not so much the story. My favorites are the fae Ellanden and the vampire Asher. Everly the princess is okay. I'm hoping that as the series goes on the three will become more fully developed. The whole book had only one fight scene. I want to see, or in this case read, them in action.
