Okay I admit there are a few steamy hate to love you erotic stories that doesn’t grab my attention often but after downloading & getting the chance the first Checkmate series, I think this one of the most entertaining, suspenseful as well as very steamy & hot that I read in a long time!!! Dawg, who knew Travis King will be the one of those mysterious, cocky but really sexy alpha male with a dirty mind but a fairly decent man with a good heart despite of his troubled childhood?!? I really I have to admire Viola for being a strong minded young woman who could hold her own when it comes to standing up for herself when Travis was an big jerk to her in the beginning. Even though it has a lot of chapters in book one, I couldn’t stop reading this!! I’m now reading book two This Is Love- continuing story of Travis and Viola!!
