Easy read. Conclusion lacked some finality to the storyline. Thanks
  • Not Realistic

The author needs to take lessons from authors Clancy and Baldacci as to how to write a thriller that is realistic enough that your imagination can envision that this was really a possible scenario.
  • Over the top but it could certainly happen!

Once again, nonstop action. The superheroes Luke and Ed get the job done Handily with only moderately bad injuries from their World-shaking encounters. The bad guys are clever, evil and believable. The strong plot is interspersed with interesting Temptations and surprising diversions.

Great book. The author has made such a believable protagonist in Luke Stone. Have enjoyed all seven of the original books and am now enjoying the newer versions. Mr. Mars, you have added another great supporting person in Murphy. Hope to see him again.
  • Subterfuge

The deception and intrigue in Primary Command holds your interest as you keep turning pages to see how the plot and sub-plots unfold. Initially, Luke Stone and his team are sent to rescue three men who were captured trying to install listening devices attached to the Russian communications network under the Black Sea. However, as we find out later, it is the first in a series of events that are masterfully woven to initiate World War III. Another page-turning thriller by Jack Mars!

More action and surprises with the Special Response Team (SRT). The book also gives more in depth character development for the SRT, their friends, and people not their friends. Often it is difficult to tell a good guy from a bad guy. Susan Hopkins gets a walk-on part as well (If you have already read the Luke Stone Thriller series you are well acquainted with this wonderful lady). Another great read from Jack Mars.
  • Over the top!

This book hits the ground running and never stops. I can’t wait for the next one!
