The story was interesting and kept me going. But it needs MAJOR editing. So many mistakes. From mistakes like “miss Louisa” (should only be lady Louisa) or calling the brothel owner Madame (should be madam) to all the many typos throughout...if I weren’t into the story I’d have given up. At least it was free.

This book seems to be written by a rookie author with very little research and no access to an editor. The characters were very immature, the storyline was contradictory and it could have been cut in half. So much of the story was boring bc the characters spent so much time talking to themselves in their heads. Don’t bother,
