It’s a cliffhanger. Too bad because it had a good story line.

The story is interesting but unfinished. It may be two or three books before we actually see an end. Had I wanted a chapter book with only the beginning chapters it would have been pretty good, but NOTHING has been resolved in this book. I won’t buy a second by this suthor

I thought the book was great, but I’m very disappointed that the author did not end the story! Will we be offered the next book in the series as a “freebie” or will we have to purchase it to continue the story?

Am not so much into paranormal novels.. really like reading this novel. but I should point out that the story isn’t complete, this seems to be only part 1 (out of 3). Would definitely want to find out what happens...

This was a freebie through BookBub. The story feels very contrived as if the author can’t decide if the shadows are ghosts, demons, or a curse. It ends abruptly in a cliffhanger. I’m not that invested in the story to buy into the series.

Bad ending

I would have skipped this read had I known the story would be continued into the second and third book. It’s a personal preference to avoid sequels.

as this is not a stand alone book. It does not end with a resolution.
