This book was just as good, if not better than, the first book. I blew threw the pages so quickly and became so attached to the characters. 10/10 would recommend.

An open streak read… All sectors were eventually put together by detail when the dialogue completed in each chapter. I’m happy to have felt that relationship paths will always make a person be uplifted when due.

Coming from a nurse, this will tear at the fiber of our being. Nurturing our souls and validation of why we do what we do. Each of us has a story. Mostly, we give the gift of hope but forget why. This book brings to the the importance of forgiveness, hope, and acceptance through the eyes of the main character. The protagonist being our own self.

I read this book in four hours. I couldn’t put it down until it was done. My husband and kids had to fend for themselves last night because there was no dinner. Oops...😁 I wish I had read the first book but a co worker of mine gave this one to me and said I should read it. I am definitely getting the first one and whatever Mitch has next. Great job!!!

The Next Person You Meet in Heaven is truly such a beautiful piece of fiction. It takes you on a journey that evokes emotions and keeps you strongly connected to the story. I first read The Five People You Meet in Heaven in high school and it became one of my favorite books, so when the sequel came out I was so excited. I felt that this book really did justice to the first one. It’s an easy read that is reminiscent of the first, and I finished it within 24 hours. The story continues with the life and death lessons that Annie, the little girl that Eddie saved in the first book, and introduces the souls that were connected to her life growing up. Overall, it brings forth the concept that every life on the planet (human and animal) is connected in ways that may not always be obvious but are important beyond our understanding while we live. “No story sits by itself. Our lives connect like threads on a loom, interwoven in ways we never realize.” I cried from this book, just as I did with the first one, and felt it was a spectacular story full of emotion and the celebration of connection and the lessons that life has to offer.
