I love how this is a stand-alone book yet it still follows up with the Backup Bride book! I’m excited that Eryn got her own book since there was enough of a story with her heartbreak in the Backup Bride book, to make u want more. Now I hope Echo gets her own book! I’d love to see her and Hayden finally realize they’re more than best friends!! This is such a good story. Definitely one of my favorite Misadventures books!!

Misadventures with my ex is the newest book in the misadventures series. This is Eryn and West’s story. Eryn was about to have all of her dreams come true, she cas about to marry the love of her life. Until he walks out on her on their wedding day. Fast forward three years and Eryn is still bitter and heartbroken. What happens when West shows up on her doorstep? Will she forgive him and why did he leave. This is another great book in the misadventures series!

Misadventures with My Ex by Shayla Black is a second chance romance with a bit of a twist. Eryn Hope was left devastated when Weston Quaid left her on what was supposed to be their wedding day. They both moved on, but never forgot, because how can you let go of the other half of your heart? Now Weston is back and blowing her world apart again. But even as her heart tells her to beware, her body wants him back. Can she protect her heart and livelihood? Weston has never stopped loving Eryn. He had his reasons for leaving ,but he has always regretted it and is now ready to win her back. Even if it means fighting dirty. I am enjoying the variety of the Misadventures series and Misadventures with My Ex by Shayla Black was a light, quick and a bit angsty second chance read. I loved this story. Eryn is strong willed and is trying to move from the most devastating day, when West left her at the alter. Three years later he comes back in her life trying to win her back, after shutting her restaurant down. Can West get Eryn to listen to him and can Eryn be able to trust west enough to love him again. This was a wonderful second chance read I could not get enough. Shayla Black did not disappoint and I highly recommend.

Angst, some humor, and all the heat one comes to love with Shayla Blacks books. A great addition to the Misadventure series that everyone must read!

A star crossed couple, who find their way back to each other in spite of family adversity. I try not to write spoilers I have to say “three years?” It took three years, after leaving “the love of his life” at the alter, with no contact, whatsoever, to work out the convoluted miasma of this relationship. There is romance, steam, angst and the HEA ending. Good read for the beach with an adult beverage.
