While the bon mots and wisdom inside are pure and bring much needed light to your world, the layout and format are a bit perplexing. Rupaul has a LOT of great things to say that we all would benefit from hearing. This book however jumbled all that brilliance and illumination with as many pictures as ideas. Nothing wrong with seeing the mighty Ru, but the pics are seemingly randomly arranged, and so is the wisdom. Tips for applying make up hold less depth when wedged between comments about being, the heart and soul. I recognize that looking deep into the heart of an artichoke by the fire sometime has its merits but as one of the cultural leaders and absolute gurus of our time, we may need both bits of wisdom but many may dismiss them as trite when the cohesiveness is missing and the information seemingly so random or stream of consciousness. This is important information for us all to get and Ru should have the wherewithal inside to structure a book that can reach BOTH these shallow depths as well as the deep peaks-or something. Ru should take her own advice and tell his inner saboteur to buzz off-she has a serious life-changing and elevating book inside that body and brain of stars and we need desperately to hear and read it.
