If you’re looking for a break from dark romance, fantasy, and or thrillers this read is the ultimate palate cleanser. This book is wonderfully sweet and discusses grief of a loved one amidst an evolving friendship turned romance. Elliot is a perfectly awkward, left-brained individual who weirdly enough offers love and sympathy for our heroine Macy. This story is for those girls who love loyal good guys.
One of the best reads

Macy and Elliot’s love story is special and leaves you wanting more. I thought this would be too much like Every Summer After but it’s different in the perfect ways.
This is a great read

The writing was good, although parts moved a bit too fast and could have used a bit more detail. The book goes from past to present from beginning to end, so if you don’t enjoy books that switch tense a lot beware.
The characters have their own personalities and the storyline is easy to understand. There are a few x rated scenes, written very tastefully. I was impressed with how the author worded these parts of the book.
The ending felt a bit rushed, which left me feeling a little unsatisfied after finishing it. It also talks a lot about death and grief. Overall it was a good read!
