The book was a fun Christmas read, filled with family, and cute romances. I feel like the book itself could have used more of the mystery and/or treasure hunt element, it was extremely underused and I had almost forgot about it altogether by the time the end of the book came around. I know it’s supposed to be a Christmas Romance book, but why add that theme if it is barely used. Otherwise, It was a fun read and I would highly recommend getting. This is a perfect Christmas read filled with family, love, respect and happiness. I’d highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys clean historical romance with an underlay of mystery all wrapped up in the joy of Christmas.
