“That time I got reincarnation as a slime” which I will henceforth refer to as “slime” redefined the Isekai genre with its well crafted world and characters and I enthusiastically recommend the read. My only complaint is that it’s relatively short for a novel lasting about ten hours of reading. Now if your coming from the anime and want to know what this novel covers it’s roughly episodes 1-8. If you happen to be reading the light novels to get ahead of the anime I unfortunately must tell you that it’s effectively parallel to the anime with how far it is. If you’re looking to get ahead of the anime you’re going to have to look for the web novel.
