Excellent! Kept my attention from start until The End.

Interesting story of South Carolina in 1740’s when a young woman had to win her father’s plantation while he was away. She started planting indigo and we learn of all of the hardships along the way.

The intelligence and headstrong confidence of young Eliza in this story will serve as motivation for any woman who reads her story.

Read the book you will Love it. It has everything you want in a book. History,love,hate, encouragement. I had a hard time putting it down.

This book was excellent. I could not put it down tonight. It is just about midnight, I’ve been reading for 2 hours and had to finish it before I slept.

Always amazing to read about the people who have made our country great. This young woman’s story is one of a life well and justly lived within the constraints of the time she lived.

I loved this book and am sad for it to be over!
