I loved the characters and the storyline. I enjoyed reading this story and the characters were fantastic. Competitive brothers turned into enemies at their father doing. A lovely woman brings them back and teaches them how to forgive and make their own happiness.

Sexy, perplexing, sad, and frustrating at times, two damaged brothers constantly try to one up each other. Maxon meets this girl who overwhelms him from the start. It’s a take of betrayal, scars, love, and redemption.

Such a great read. Could not put it down! Love that there was a different perspective and that perspective made me want to read this story all of the way to the end. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series :).

This was a great read. The story seems simple—man and woman meet. Woman falls in love, but man is focused on success in business and only sees her as someone to have sex with. It’s a bit of a surprise when there is a twist in the plot. His hatred of his brother becomes a central focus and somehow forces him to re-evaluate his life. Definitely worth reading.

Ms. Black is now officially on my favorite author list. This is the first book of Ms. Black that I read and I fell in love with Maxon. It’s wonderful to read a book that focuses on the male characters POV more than the female. It’s so awesome to know how the hero feels and how deep he feels, the way he described his how he felt toward Keeley. This is a must read. The story line and the plot was so unexpected and wonderfully written. Can’t wait to start on Maxon’s brother’s story. 😍😍😍😍 💗 ❤️ 💕 it. Highly recommended!
