This book was really boring and gross. Wes is to clingy and their relationship is super cringe. Half of the story is about them having sex. Not surprised Hoover is a fan of this book, because her books are bad as well. The fan base are high schoolers cuz this book isn’t the best.

I never read, I picked this book up and couldn’t put it down. I needed to keep reading to find out what happened next. Now I need to read the next book in the series.

Even when the story had some stops pulled out to create that tension every good book has, I held my joy close. I can say this book brought joyful feelings and many happy reading squeals!! Highly recommend for those who enjoy an open mind.

Honestly, my hopes weren’t super high for this book. LGBTQ romances aren’t always done well. This one was complex and interesting enough to keep my interest, the characters are realistic, and the conflicts are relatable and genuine. I enjoyed this book far more than I expected, and I’d recommend it for sure.
  • Great book, even if you don’t know much about hockey

Based on descriptions for the next books in the series, I figured out how the book would likely end. Even with that, I still thoroughly enjoyed the book. The sexy scenes fit in well with the overall story. Don’t hesitate to give this book a chance.
