This book is the 7th in the series and the story was just as engaging as the others. The characters were well developed and it was nice to learn more about Carpenter. The gang and their missions are always enjoyable to read. This story takes place in New Orleans where Lizzie is helping Carpenter. Things never go as planned but they seem to work out in the end.

**I Received a kindle copy of this book from the Author in return for an Honest Review** What's a Demon Slayer to do when a well meaning Necromancer calls in his favor owed? Well of course the sassy Biker Demon Slayer Lizzie, her dog Pirate, Pirate's pet Dragon Flappy, and her Grandma's ragtag Biker Witch Coven head straight to New Orleans to help out the lovable Necromancer Carpenter. He is owed a favor, and Lizzie's an honorable Demon Slayer! In this 7th installment of the Lizzie Brown saga as I've come to call it (the Demon Slayer series if your everyone else), Lizzie finds herself lounging at Grandma's since her Husband is on Griffin business, when Carpenter shows up toting a trapped black soul. He's there to call in his favor owed. He only wants Lizzie to help figure out how a Dark Bokor (evil voodoo priest) is trapping black souls, and her help to release a black soul from an alligator. Can't be to hard, right? As usual what was supposed to be an easy job turns into a full out war Biker Witch Style! Pirate, with the help of the Biker Witches drag Lizzie down into even more trouble while staying in a haunted house owned by Biker Witch Ant Eater's family. Though in true form Lizzie manages to come out the other side mostly unharmed. I had so much fun reading this one even though its a little shorter than past slayer book, Lizzie was somewhere new, fighting an evil she's never faced. It also gives you a little more insight into Ant Eater's past, and into Carpenter's life. Though Carpenter is still mostly a mystery, one I really want to see on paper in the future! As always with this series lots of laughs were had, steamy love scenes were devoured, and at times I was on edge of my seat with suspense wondering how Lizzie was going to get everyone out of this...... If you've read the previous books this one is totally on par with the previous ones, if you have not I suggest you start out from the beginning with The Accidental Demon Slayer (Demon Slayer #1) by Angie Fox and let the fun times roll!

In book 7 of Angie Fox's paranormal mystery series, we find accidental demon slayer Lizzie Brown, her talking canine, Pirate, her hunky shape-shifter husband, Dmitri, her grandmother and the biker witch crew, and her dragon-in-training, Flappy, heading down to New Orleans to lend a hand to Lizzie's friend and necromancer, Carpenter. The deceptively simply mission quickly turns into more than any of them bargained for, as they venture into some unchartered territory in the dark, ugly part of voodoo and the undead. This is a fun, well written, compelling story that honors the history of this series, while building the relationships and setting the stage for the next book. Fox excels at character development, and Lizzie and her crew are among my favorites. It has the right mix of suspense, humor, mystery, romance, action, magic, and paranormal plot-twists, this time with the atmospheric flavor of the Big Easy. I really enjoyed this book, although I would have liked to learn a bit more about the backstory with Ant Eater's family home, and a better understanding of what was going on in the séance room, as I think it would have added to the overall story. Those might be details for a future book, however, and there certainly was enough going on otherwise to hold my attention. I recommend this book for readers of mystery, paranormal, romance, and simply laugh out loud fun. It's a great summer read to take on vacation, to the beach, relaxing by the pool, or while soaking in the bath with a cup of tea, or a glass of wine. If you want a book with interesting characters, a suspenseful storyline, a great setting, where the good guys win in the end, this one should be on your summer reading list.

I received and ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. This book was so extremely hard to put down that I finished it in one evening. I love this series and all the whacked out characters. Just thinking of a leather clad grandma on a harley puts a smile on my face. Lizzie is at her butt-kicking best! My only complaint about the book is that there wasn't enough shirtless Dimitri, but what there was of the super hot shape-shifting griffin was amazing. Plus I can never get enough Pirate. That dog is hilarious! It was pretty awesome that this tied into the authors short story Gentlemen Prefer Voodoo from the MY Zombie Valentine anthology. Can't wait for more Demon Slaying!

I was given this book as an ARC to read for an honest review. I have been reading the Demon Slayer series from the beginning and look forward to the next one as I finish the last. This one certainly didn't disappoint. It has been a pleasure to see Lizzie grow and mature into her powers. While this book is part of s series you can still enjoy as a stand-alone book. Lizzie has a promise to keep and she follows through with a trip to New Orleans. She brings the biker witches as a safe guard and they come prepared. The interactions between Lizzie and the Biker Witches is always interesting because they give her grief yet care of her deeply and she feels the same for them. Pirate and the dragon add a fun thread no matter how serious things get. The book was fun yet kept you interested.

I have to start off by saying that I LOVE this series and yet again, Angie Fox does not disappoint. With moments that had me laughing out loud and some drool-worthy moments with Lizzie's hubby, a super sexy griffin shapeshifter, I was hooked from the get-go and could not put this one down. When Lizzie is called to repay a favor, things go from a quick, fun trip to New Orleans to spiraling out of control, with the biker grandma and smart-arsed side-kick Pirate the talking dog along for the ride. A wonderful read that had me laughing at moments days later.

Night of the Living Demon Slayer by Angie Fox Zombies. Lizzie, Dimitri and the Biker Witches battle dark voodoo in this seventh Demon Slayer book in the series. Back again is also the talking Jack Russell terrier Pirate, and his pet, the gangly adolescent white dragon that's as big as a car. I enjoy how kick-ash Lizzie is throughout the books, although she can't quite seem to master magic. That's ok. The throwing stars and magic provided by the Biker Witches make her unstoppable in defeating the darker supernatural forces she fights. And the scenes between Lizzie and Dimitri sizzle. I really like their continued devotion to each other. This book moved faster and smoother than the last. I wasn't comfortable with the seemingly casual killing of the church members but its explained. Overall, a great escape read. I received a copy of this book from the author.

Another homerun from Angie Fox, this is a great series one of my favorites! In this book Lizzie and her band of Biker Witches are off to the Voodoo capital New Orleans. While sexy Dimtri is off going to a Griffin meeting, Lizzie gets wrapped up in some seriously dark voodoo, all to help a necromancer from the past. It doesn’t go to well and she is in it deep. She needs to rescue her friend, deal with a haunted house, and keep the dead from rising again. I couldn’t put this story down and I can’t wait for the next adventure featuring Lizzie, Dimtri, Pirate, and the Biker Witches…. Oh yeah and Flappy!
