Enjoyed this story, the 2 main characters were very good. She had issues, he was determined to stay single. The death of her stepfather brought them together. Loved the fact that they became friends and his teaching her steps in Self defense( which I reread several times) . She was able to succeed, when the time came. Thank You.

I really enjoyed this book as a stand alone but I found it even more enjoyable as a runner up to "Make Believe Wedding". I'm hopping to read the rest of the Bachelor Auction series soon. I loved the chemistry between Lily and Beau. How they try to stay apart but ultimately can't and that they both struggle from past childhood hurt but they use their shared love to overcome it together. Maybe I'm a sappy romantic but this book was a little of it all plus a lot of spicy if you know what I'm saying😉😏 I know you'll love it and the rest of the series too!

**I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion** Lily would do anything for her friend, including asking Beau to be part of the bachelor auction fundraiser benefiting Molly's son Josh. And Beau never backs down from a challenge. So used to avoiding each other, the animosity is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Right before the auction, Lily's past is flung at her with and unexpected windfall from an inheritance--money she refuses to pocket--and she makes a decision to donate it to Molly the only way she can...bid, and win Beau! But, that's not the only part of her past coming to revisit, and the next part is danger. Beau witnesses and agrees to teach Lily some self-defense. As they play the cat and mouse game of hating each other, they keep getting drawn into each other's lives...and as a surprise to them, their hearts. Saving Lily's life makes them both realize they can't live without each other, and love is more important than anything. Wow, what a story!

A fun quick read, Bound to the Bachelor is the first book in the Bachelor Auction series. Lily Taylor wants to help her friend with the costs related to her son's accident that put him in a wheelchair. Not only is her friend a single mom, the injured child is Lily's godson. Deciding a Bachelor Auction would be a good fundraiser, she sets out to recruit candidates. Beau Bennett is a former Marine with a quickly growing security business. He is also the brother of Lily's best friend who has made his disapproval of her very well known. He is also a very eligible bachelor, so Lily grabs her courage and convinces him to participate in the auction. Fast forward to the auction, where Lily decides at the last minute what she wants to do with her unexpected windfall....and Beau is the only bachelor left to bid on. Lily is more than a little shocked when Beau decides to honor the date and the two spend the day together and have to admit the animosity has been to cover the attraction. I enjoyed these two characters and getting to know them. The were such fun once they admitted they had chemistry. I loved returning to Marietta and this was a wonderful way to see old friends and meet new ones. Lily was a strong character who worked hard to get past the challenges of her early life. A great beginning to a new series that I can't wait to continue with. I am excited about the next bachelors Lily has convinced to participate in the auction.

I loved this book. It blew away all my expectations of buying a date. Lilly and Beau have always been snappy toward one another. Until Lilly spends $10000 on a date with beau. When they are on there ski date sparks begin to fly. I loved the protectiveness of Beau's character and Lilly's strong willed nature. They are a perfect fit together. I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the series now.

What a wonderful way to start off the new series of the Bachelor Auction. This is a fast paced sweet but steamy romance, that will keep you turning the pages. Loved the characters of Beau and Lily. Lily is in need of one more bachelor at the auction so she gets her best friend's brother to agree. Lily has decided to pay an ungodly amount of money on Beau, to help a good cause. Beau plans on giving Lily at date that she will not forget, but how can sparks fly between them. Lily does not want to ruin her friendship. A little suspense from Lily's past adds to the story. I highly recommend this book, can't wait to read the rest of the bachelor series.

Sarah Mayberry in Bound to the Bachelor has created a very enjoyable story. Lily has a bit of a bad past, with a heart of gold. She is working to raise funds for her god son who has been in an awful accident. She has the idea of a bachelor auction. She recruits her best friends brother, Beau to be auctioned. There have been sparks between Lily and Beau for the last five years, but they totally avoid each other and treat each other with a lot of disdain. Then Lily bids on Beau and during their date they figure out they both like each other and are trying to resist each other. Sparks do fly and Lily's past catches up to her.
