I couldn’t put this down! Despite the immense sadness it brought me reading about Layne it was a great insider look into one of my most favorite bands. Layne was an amazing soul gone way too soon. So heartbreaking. I’m thankful the band went on and is still amazing but Layne...💔

I've been researching the history of this band for years with mixed results. de Sola put in the work and research and made a masterpiece in my eyes. This is a beautiful, tragic, mesmerizing tale that has finally been told. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden.... They all take a back seat to the story and music of Alice, this book just reaffirms that.

Personally, I've been looking for a read like this for a whole minute. Very honest, entertaining, dramatic,& emotional look at one of the greatest bands of all time. I only thing that I didn't enjoy was finishing it, cause now the ride is over....it was that kind of book.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!!!!
