Excellent book with twists and turns to keep you interested,some sex rolled in and a good story plot. I really enjoyed and look forward to reading more of her books. Really enjoyed the ending.

Great book! I couldn’t put it down!

The thriller aspect of this book delivered, doling out clues about the abductor while introducing Mallory Rooney’s worst memory. As Alex Parker finds himself drawn into her life, he discovers someone is following her. Unfortunately, the romance aspect distracted from the story. If I hadn’t skip the gratuitous sex scenes, I might have figured out some of the nuances of the case earlier.

While searching for serial killers and her missing twin, FBI Special Agent Mallory Rooney meets Alex Parker. Mallory finds a pattern linking the deaths of suspected pedophiles, receives a promotion she hasn’t applied for in the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) and starts on a journey filled with suspense and danger. The characters are skillfully developed presented with all of their pain and flaws. Digging for the truth exposes the web of secrets that will eventually bind them together. A Cold Dark Place is the first book of a well written series. This is a fast paced, action packed love story.

Kept my attention. A good read.

Absolutely in love with this book. The connection between Mallory and Alex is completely unmatched by any other fictional couple. The different twists and turns left me turning page after page. Despite wishing this book never ended, it left no loose ends (hah), and left you feeling good about where each character stood. Can’t wait to read more of Toni Anderson’s.

Wow, just wow. I’m more into the hard romance kind of books and I wasn’t too sure about this book I randomly came across. Let me assure you this book is impossible to put down. The author really knows how to describe the scene, and it makes you feel like you’re right there in the book with the characters. Awesome thriller mystery with some nice romance peppered here and there. Would definitely recommend. I already downloaded the second book!

I love reading but I love reading the old fashion way. But this book was different, it kept ,e up at night reading and reading wondering what would happen to Alex and Mallory. This is a wonderful book, well written and a gripping story. It going to be hard to find something else to read after this, nothing can match up to this.

Honestly better than I first anticipated. The characters keep it interesting however the end was almost predictable
