Shank is an informative and entertaining review of one of golf's most disheartening shots. The format is interactive and fun and wrings every bit of information out of the subject at hand. The authors might have picked a more enticing title like "How 15 Handicappers Can Stripe it 250 Yards Down the Middle with Regularity" but this innovative ebook deals with reality. There is information in here for everybody and useful tips go well beyond how to cure the shank. Zach Allen's teaching style is smooth, relaxed and to the point. His tips contain no extra verbiage and require no special equipment. Their value to the average golfer goes well beyond avoiding shanks and deeply in to forming a good swing. And let me say it again, this is a fun read.

I am an amateur golfer and “shanks" was the description of a lot of my golf game. I had a difficult time trying to correct the shank and was over-compensating. Being a frustrated golfer, I was thrilled to read Zach Allen’s book on “Shank”. His diagrams, videos and instructions were very helpful. He has an easy and clear way of describing the reasons for shanks, and he gives many thorough explanations about solving the problem. I have found his book, “Shank” to be well worth reading.

I'm an avid golfer that periodically struggles with the sh***ks. When they strike, they ruin my confidence and sap my enthusiasm for the game. I've tried many 'solutions' over the years. Some help temporarily. Some don't. But nothing curbs sense of my frustration and helplessness. After reading Zach's explanations and watching his videos, I was able to self-diagnose my problem. I do the rolling takeaway. I couldn't wait to test his anti-shanking drills. I raced to the range. Voilà! Within minutes I started making solid contact. So this is how the game is meant to be played!
