Description

This Book contains 53 rigorous and comprehensive Powerpoint presentations for topics covered by the Pre-Calculus and SAT courses. They can be used for both review and learning, and are a perfect fit for every student regardless of their current knowledge of Pre-Calculus. These interactive Powerpoint lectures illustrate every problem, walking you through the procedure step-by-step. Every proof, illustration, and theorem is explained concisely and accurately.

These lectures will help tremendously with your SAT preparation. Before you begin practicing with multiple-choice problems from the SAT book, you need to get a confident understanding of the material. This book is intended to help you do that.

My Pre-Calculus students ask me every year what the best time is to take the SAT, and I always tell them "June, after we are done with the whole year of our Pre-Calculus course." A lot of my students who take the SAT after they are successfully done with this Pre-Calculus course get the perfect score of 800 on their SATs.

Like the previous volume, this book helped me not only ace my pre-calculus class, but also understand the subject. It provided a really strong foundation for me in my Calculus BC class. Cannot recommend a better book!

I used the lectures in the book along with Volume 1 to supplement my Pre-Calculus Honors class and study for the SAT subject test Math II exam. Whenever I had any questions or identified a topic where I was particularly lost on, I consulted the lectures in the book. Thanks to the explanations, I understood all of the Pre-calculus topics, scored extremeley high in my class, and achieved a perfect score on the SAT mathematics exam.

Having interactive lectures and well written explainations allows students such as myself to easily understand new concepts. This book, in addition to Volume 1, is a great reference book, even for those who have already taken the course. If you are studying for the SAT subject test, this book will be a great refresher and does a great job of providing practice problems and incorporating good study material.

I am not naturally talented in math, so I am only able to follow super detailed, clear and step-by-step explanations which are what this book offers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried numerous other math books, but none of them is as easy to follow as this one!!!!!!!!! I always read the corresponding section of this book before I do my homework, and it really helps, because it teaches me many tricks and the most convenient problem-solving methods!!!!!!My grades improved Tremendously throughout the year, and I got a grade of 103% in my second semester!!!! My friends thought I suddenly became a math genius hahahhahaha, but little did they know that it was because I religiously used the methods in this book to solve problems!!!'

Look no further - this is the best book there is out there for PreCalc/SAT. This book prepares students extremely well for the SAT math, as it covers everything you need to know on the test. The most helpful part of this book is all the detailed examples of each type of problem. I could not have gotten my 800 on the SAT math without the help of this book, so thank you for writing this, Ms. Korsunsky.

Mrs. Korsunsky strikes again with a great book to finish off the PreCalculus series. It still contains the brilliant formulas, proofs, explanations, and examples that were great in the last book, but for the next series of topics. The compact build really makes it easy to find everything you need.

This is a wonderful companion if you are learning pre calculus or even reviewing for a higher math lane. The animations are extremely well done. They are not distracting and actually help immensely with following along. I'm more of a visual learner so I love how interactive, colorful, and in-depth this book is. Definitely worth the money!!
  • Awesome power Points!

This book teaches the Pre-calculus concepts thoroughly and gives students adequate practice to help reinforce those concepts. These simple and concise Power Points are not only great for first time learners, but also great to refer back to! I am a student of Ms. Korsunsky and she uses power points like this in class. I can honestly say that the step-by-step format makes concepts easy to understand and remember. Because of these power points I feel more confident in math, and my scores have reflected that. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to learn Pre-calculus!

This book is easy to understand, incredibly comprehensive, and greatly improved both my understanding of Pre-Calculus, and my appreciation for the subject. This book actually got me interested in Math and the possibilities it holds. I can credit my 800 SAT I and SAT II Math IIC scores to this series (volume 1 and 2). This book prepared me well for AP Calculus BC and has provided me with a solid, fool-proof foundation for advanced mathematics in the future. A+
