A wonderfully tumultuous interpersonal character development tale! Can’t wait to get on to the books.

Loved this first book in the series. Definitely plan to read them all. This author creates a wonderful world that is easy to become immersed in. Wholly original, with great characters. So glad this is a series so I don’t have to feel too sad about finishing the first book. Would love to see this come out on audio as well…🥰

M.C.A. Hogarth has written a remarkable book, a series in fact, that contains wisdom beyond her years woven into a story that is as wise as cinnamon. (And being a proud and important spice, that is high praise.) The characters are richly developed and the pacing of the story makes for a very satisfying read. Mindtouch explores what it really means to have a intimate conection with someone that involves the heart & mind and not the groins. Part fantasy, part science fiction, part story of wonder it is filled with even richer details including marvelous foods. Highly recommened to anyone who wishes to have a more expansive mind and heart.

This is the most fascinating book I’ve ever read. The depth of character development is more than I thought possible in fantasy books. The evolution of the main two characters was so beautifully written that I found myself shedding actual tears. That has not happened before while reading books in this genre. Well done!! I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more by this highly sensitive and talented writer!

This was written by a female, rather unusual for the genre but regardless an excellent imaginative effort which I unashamedly enjoyed. Fell in love with all the characters, their quirks, minds, actions, and attitudes. Highly recommend if the genre appeals!

This is a marvelous book! Indeed one marvels at the characters as much or more as the story! I could hardly put it down.

Cuddle up with your favorite blanket and drift into the world of MCA Hogarth's Pelted Universe. She has several books all worth full reads as well as her collections and series. This is her first in the Dreamhealer series. Jahir and Vasiht’h are at College in the Pelted Universe. Their lives, love for each other and life’s are tested throughout the series and MCA Hogarths wonderful sense of humor, view of relationships and what makes us people keeps you loving each character. This was a try first and I didn’t put it down, bought the rest of the series and several others of her series and collections. Have re- read now and are still as enjoyable as the first read. I hope you too will enjoy.

This appeared on the BookBub mailing and once I read the sample I couldn’t go without buying. When I first got internet I was hooked on “furries” web comics and this “space opera” of the Pelted had characters I began to love from the beginning. Easy to read but challenging enough in vocabulary and content I was not bored nor could I forget about it when I put it down.

One of the narrators was emotionless and the other was angsty throughout. Great world building. I really want to see more of the world and the characters but some action would be nice.
