Read The Rook and then immediately moved on to Stiletto -- couldn't put either of them down. They're quite different but I loved both. Wonderfully drawn characters and so funny and creative.

The Rook was awesome, looked forward to the Stiletto. A bit slow for me at first but then caught me and couldn't put it down. Recommended.

O'malley's characters are always fun to read, smart and cool. With Stiletto he steps everything up a notch, especially the weirdness and the gore. A few of the attempts at humor seem misplaced, but overall, it's a fun ride and fans of THE ROOK. Won't be disappointed.

I had been waiting years for this one, and found it totally delightful - both the book itself and the Audiobook version (hats off to Moira Quirk!). Respectfully but totally disagree with Publishers Weekly on this one. Daniel, sincerely hoping you will write another - great job!!!
